The Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary
lies in the south west corner of the
West Sikkim district. The radius in
which this majestic sanctuary spreads
is over 104 sq. km, across the razor
sharp Singalila Range. From this point
onwards the natural international
border with Nepal starts. So the tourists
who visit Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary
automatically take a good visit to
Nepal our neighboring country. In
the South the Rambong Khola separates
it from West Bengal. There are three
points of entry, Hilley, Dentam and
Soreng.
