Dachigham National Park is mainly known for its beaut6y and the vegetation. Here the fruits and flowers grow in the same beauty and make it a paradise for anyone’s eyes. This beautiful reserve is located only 22 kilometers from Sriniagar, the capital city of the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir. It covers an area of 141 square kilometers consisting of some of the most scenic natural beauty present on Earth.

Besides the Kashmir Stag Himalayan black bears, Thick-coated grey languor’s brown bears and leopard cats are also seen here. Birdlife is delightful and flowers carpeting the upper meadows are spectacular, especially the blue poppy.
The Best Time to visit the upper Dachigam is from June to August, and the best to see the trees bear their autumnal colors is October. This is the only Park which offers various beauties all through the year.
