The Dudhwa National Park is located along the Indo-Nepal border in Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh; The River Suheli marks the southern boundary of the place. Dudhwa Park was initially a Tiger reserve but later on became a National Park in 1977 and adopted the Project Tiger in 1988. Though a large number of Tigers habitat the place but are rarely seen due to the dense forest. The Park is spread over the area of 500 square Kms.
The fauna of this park comprises of Tigers, Leopards, Hispid Hares and the Swamp Deer (Barasingha) and Rhinos.
