Pench National Park is ssituated on the border of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Maharashtra, 90 kilometres north of Nagpur.

The Pench National Park is well-known for the abundance of flora and fauna found within the Pench National Park as the varied species of wildlife of "Project Tiger" as the 19th Project Tiger Reserve.

The Reserve is located in the southern part of the Satpura hill range in the Seoni and Chhindwara districts in Madhya Pradesh.

This was the place where Rudyard Kipling wasinspired to write that all-time favourite, "The Jungle Book". The splendid parkis is spread over 758 sq.kms of tropical moist deciduous forest.

The 'Kullu tree' (a species of gum tree) in Pench is a highlight,
The fauna of the park comprises of wild dog, the wild pig, nilgai, chital, muntjac, gaur, the four-horned antelope and of course tigers. The tiger population in pench is one of the hightest - 55, The birds seen here are more than 200 species like barbets, bulbuls, minivets, orioles, wagtails, munias, mynas, waterfowls, and blue kingfishers.
The best time to visit the Pench National Park is November to end June.

Railway Station - Seoni Railway Station (30 km from Pench National Park). Seoni is the nearest railway station connected to Mumbai and other places in the region by regular trains.

Road :
The nearest bus stand is at Seoni from where one can take buses or jeeps to the Pench National Park. Seoni is connected to almost all the places in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra by good road and rail networks.
