Rajaji National Park is located
across the shivaliks at the foothills
of the Himalayas. The area covered
by Rajaji National Park
is 820 square Kms.
This magnificient Park is the result
of the amalgamation of three sanctuaries
namely Rajaji, Motichur and Chilla.
This area is the North western Limit
of the Asian elephants and possesses
as many as 23 species of mammals and
315 bird species, the wildlife here
is furred and feathered, docile and
dangerous.
The animals seen here are tigers,
leopards, elephants, deer, jungle
cat, wild boar and sloth bear.
