Shendurny wildlife sanctuary is located 70 kms from Kollam, Kerela on the Kollam-Shencotta Road.

It is a green valley of splendid forests, situated on the banks of the Shendurny River. Steep and rugged peaks surround the Shendurny wildlife sanctuary, which is dotted by several breathtaking ravines.

The approach to Shendurny wildlife sanctuary is very easy. One can reach by air to Thiruvananthapuram which is 140 Kms way. On the northern side of the Shendurny wildlife sanctuary is Palaruvi, a beautiful picnic spot. In the tropical evergreen and mixed deciduous forests here are found a variety of animals.
